Building a new home is one of life’s most exciting milestones—and one of the biggest investments you’ll ever make. At Hjellming Construction, we believe it should be an experience defined by confidence, creativity, and craftsmanship. With over 60 years of experience in new home construction in Sioux Falls, our family-based team has perfected the process of bringing unique visions to life.
Why Choose Hjellming Construction for Your Custom Build
A new home offers something remodeling can’t always deliver—a completely clean slate. Every wall, window, and finish is designed to fit your lifestyle, not someone else’s. Whether you’re envisioning an open-concept layout perfect for entertaining, a peaceful retreat tucked into South Dakota, or a modern farmhouse filled with natural light, new construction lets your imagination lead the way.
Beyond personalization, today’s new homes are built for longevity and efficiency. From advanced insulation to energy-efficient windows and appliances, a new build delivers lower maintenance and utility costs while providing comfort that lasts for generations.
